What is the life cycle of a Play and Work Matta systems?
A well-installed and maintained Play Matta™ playground (this requires a Play Matta Certified Installer), or Work Matta system™, will last up to 10+ years. We have lifted and relayed, or repurposed product over 15 years old. See, for example, our Rocket Park NZ case study.
How much maintenance is involved?
Our Work and Play Matta™ products are virtually maintenance free. However, regular cleaning will prevent the build-up of dirt and grime ensuring the surfacing performs and looks at its very best.
How do I get a quote?

Can we get documents to prove we meet fall height compliance?
Yes, a certificate of Compliance can be supplied on request when the installation is complete. The certificatation is backed by independent testing and Play Matta™ complies with all applicable sections of the USA, Australian, New Zealand and UK Playground Safety Standards. ASTM F1292, AS 4422:2016, AS 4685.1:2014, NZS 5828:2015, BS EN 1177:2018.
How much maintenance is involved?
All Work Matta™ and Play Matta™ products are very low maintenance. Regular cleaning will prevent the build-up of dirt and grime ensuring the surfacing performs and looks at its very best.
Can matting systems be moved and re-used at another site?
Yes, the interlocking, modular nature of the mats allows for them to be lifted and re-laid on a new site.
Can I self install your products?
Most Matta products can be self installed. For larger commercial areas, or public access playgrounds installation by a certified installer is required.
How do I know what the best surfacing option is for me?
Contact us and we'll put the right person in touch. If we genuinely don't think a Matta product is appropriate for your application, we'll say so!
