Loss of safety compliance is a major concern with poured-in-place playgrounds as the surfacing wears, shrinks and disintegrates. Expensive patching and repairs are usually only a temporary fix.
By re-covering your tired poured-in-place (PiP) surfacing with Play Matta™ Re-Cover you will be guaranteed long lasting quality and performance for years to come. You'll also be saving PiP from landfill - repurposing waste is what we do. Click here to see how Re-Cover works

How is Play Matta™ Re-Cover installed?
The existing PiP surface is typically "skimmed" to ensure an even and compliant surface. Following this, Play Matta™ Original tiles are installed directly on top, welded together and the perimeter pinned. This process utilises and preserves the fall height properties of the underlying PiP, while giving the top surface a brand new look and feel.
How much maintenance is involved?
Play Matta™ Re-Cover is very low maintenance. Regular cleaning will prevent the build-up of dirt and grime ensuring the surfacing performs and looks at its very best.
What is the life cycle of a Play Matta™ system?
A well-installed and maintained Play Matta™ playground (this requires a Play Matta Certified Installer), will last up to 10+ years. We have lifted and relayed, or repurposed product over 15 years old.
