The Bargara Turtle Playground in Queensland was closed by the Bundaberg Regional Council due to concerns about rubber crumb pollution. Creative Playground Surfaces and Play Matta™ worked with the Council to install a new, durable, and environmentally friendly surface. The Play Matta™ interlocking system, made from recycled materials, was installed over the previous surface to prevent rubber crumb pollution from entering the local environment.
The project was completed quickly, and families were pleased with the new surface, ensuring that the Turtle Playground is now safe and enjoyable for families and the environment. This project's success highlights the growing popularity of Play Matta™ throughout Australia.
