Adventure Plus partnered with the City of Casey to address the underutilization of a playground located at the end of a court. Despite being a vital community space, the playground's condition deterred locals from using it regularly.
Project Overview:
The goal was to design and install a new playground that would not only enhance aesthetics but also improve functionality and play value so the local community would start using this play area.
Solution:
We supplied and installed a grey checker pattern Play Matta Original surface, providing durability and visual appeal. The addition of a new playground design incorporated features such as swings, slides, bridges, climbing walls, and more to significantly increase play value.
The installation also included an access path along the outer edge for prams, ensuring ease of access for all members of the community.
Outcome:
The transformation of the playground had a profound impact on the local community. With the new and improved amenities, the playground saw a surge in usage, engaging children and families who previously avoided the area due to its condition.
A testimonial from a local grandparent encapsulates the positive response: "Can't wait for it to open to bring my grandchildren to a new playground without having to travel in the car."
